Broadband suppliers step up competition

27 April 2005

A number of broadband suppliers in the UK have today introduced yet more innovative packages and deals sending market competition soaring.

The new internet solutions are introduced in the wake of the series of changes brought about by BT to its own pricing structures plus the upgrading of its standard ADSL speeds to 2mbps.

Exemplary of these latest introductions is Entanet's new range of MAX pay-as-you-go broadband services.

Entanet's latest offer enables customers to benefit from higher speed connections without paying a premium.

"These services are ideal for users that do not use the internet regularly but want the fastest possible connection when they do", explained vice president John Tsai.

"With the 2mbps speed they are now even more attractive and as Entanet are absorbing the additional costs that result from the higher speeds now available, they are even better value for our customers."

Virgin.net has also launched a new broadband service with no 12 month contract providing no long term commitments.
