Internet service provider (ISP) Fast4 has launched a new unlimited broadband package for £14.99 per month.
The unlimited and uncapped deal means that users can download as much as they like, without incurring in extra costs.
The £14.99 per month contract refers to the relatively slow 512Kb connection.
Faster download speeds are also available at increasing prices. Consumers can choose a 1Mb package for £16.99, pay £21.99 for 2Mb and £29.99 for the up to 8Mb package.
"We continually monitor market prices and we believe that our Unlimited service is very hard to beat. Most of our competitors are pushing capped products which eventually make the higher users of the service upset with the cost," said Kevin Baigent, operations director at Fast4, according to ISP Review.
Other companies have imposed a "fair usage" policy on their uncapped deals, setting an unofficial limit on the amount heavy users should reasonably be allowed to download each month.
"We promise that our service is totally uncapped, unrestricted and has no fair usage policy," Mr Baigent added.
