09 October 2006

BT Vision, the next-generation TV service, has signed a deal with Lionsgate Entertainment Corporation.

The deal will mean BT Vision customers will have access to the Lionsgate film library when the service launches in autumn 2006.

Lionsgate has one of the biggest independent film libraries in the world and contain works such as Reservoir Dogs, Jeepers Creepers, Open Water, Dirty Dancing and The Gift.

BT Vision customers will be able to enjoy a large range of film, music and television programming as part of the soon-to-be launched service.

Dan Marks, BT Vision CEO, said: "This is another great deal which ensures that BT Vision customers will be able to access yet more classic films. This agreement with Lionsgate shows that our commitment to bring the best and most varied entertainment is continuing unabated."

BT Vision has already announced deals with a number of entertainment companies including Eagle Rock, BBC Worldwide, Paramount, Warmer Music Group and the National Geographic Channel.
