BT use style tactics to win new customers

14 June 2007

For a limited time, BT is to offer its new customers a black Home Hub as part of an incentive to get consumers to sign up for its BT Total Broadband package.

Linking home phone use and broadband services, the BT Home Hub was finally launched earlier this year after multiple setbacks and has already proved to be a popular choice for bundled packages.

From July 1st, the first 200,000 customers to sign up for the package will receive the exclusive black model, which allows users to connect up to 25 different applications wirelessly, reports New Media Age.

Consumers opting for its Option 2 or Option 3 packages will receive the Home Hub free of charge, while those who chose Option 1 will be required to pay 30. Users of the Home Hub can also use BT's Vision TV on-demand box.
