WiFi broadband provider The Cloud has struck a deal with Finnish phone manufacturer Nokia, it has been announced.
Under its terms, The Cloud customers will be able to access Nokia's Music Store while in one of the broadband provider's WiFi hotspots.
The online store - which offers the option to stream music for a flat monthly rate along with a large range of downloadable tracks - will therefore be accessible from both handsets and laptops under a single account.
Director of Business Development at The Cloud Owen Geddes said: "The high speed connectivity of Wi-Fi means it is the only real choice for consumers wanting fast and easy access to all types of multimedia content on the go."
He added: "If I am out and about and I hear a track in a shop or a friend recommends something, I want to be able to download it immediately - not wait until I get home."
The Nokia link-up is the latest in a series of deals which the WiFi company has made with high-profile organisations - including McDonalds, Coffee Republic and pub chain Wetherspoons - this year.
Around 7,500 WiFi hotspots are maintained by The Cloud in the UK.
