A fresh Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) broadband service has been launched by Voipfone that it said will offer users "unlimited" access to the internet and calling methods.
The firm said that it can "specify" the quickest routes for traffic to over as the connection from the telephone to network is controlled.
Moreover, the capabilities can be used alongside older email and internet avenues because they have been "voice prioritised", the company claimed.
Chief Executive of Voipfone Colin Duffy stated that a broadband connection is important for business users because they need strong services.
"We often that find clients using a cheap and heavily contended consumer internet access service to do it all with, which of course it can't. Something has to give and because a telephone conversation has to happen in real time it's the first to suffer," he commented.
Last week, Phil Sayer from Forrester Research analyst said that service providers are restricting mobile VoIP by not offering enough bundles.
