Locals are to meet with the watchdog Ofcom Wales in a bid to solve broadband problems in the village of Gwytherin.
Difficulties with a service provided by British Telecom (BT) have been witnessed for sometime, residents claimed, including disruption to connections.
Simon Smith, North Wales Chief Fire Officer, welcomed the meeting and said that hopefully it will lead to the alleged problems being solved.
He told the Daily Post: "It's high time the people of Gwytherin had a quality telephone service. After all, we do pay the same line rental as everyone else."
The Openreach team at BT stated that work is being put into the changes and that various alternatives have been considered to existing operating methods.
A review and survey of the area has been carried out, observed spokesman Paul Hayward.
Openreach says that it is proud to be in charge of Britain's local area network and that the market is always evolving.
