Orange wins first place in mobile broadband satisfaction poll

2 December 2008

Consumers have placed Orange at the top of a new poll for its mobile broadband offerings - an accolade the company describes as "a real honour".

The YouGov research found Orange was number one in terms of customer experience and the performance of its mobile broadband network.

Paul Tollet, Vice-President of Orange Business, said the company is focusing on improving network reliability and coverage in the months ahead.

It is also putting more emphasis on the range and quality of the mobile broadband tariffs and devices it offers to its customers, he added.

"We have taken significant measures to improve the quality of our network for both voice and data and are so glad that our customers are really starting to see the benefit," Mr Tollet remarked.

Meanwhile, new research by Tariff Consultancy reveals that average mobile broadband prices have fallen by 35% in the UK over the last year.

Consumers looking for a mobile broadband deal should compare the tariffs available from a range of suppliers.
