It should be made easier for customers who want to change the provider of their service bundles, one organisation has said.
The Communications Consumer Panel (CCP) welcomed the Ofcom proposals to clamp down on the mis-selling of home phone services, although called for more to be done to help consumers who subscribe to multiple services.
In a letter to Ofcom's Director of Consumer Affairs, Panel Chair Anna Bradley said: "We believe that Ofcom should be working towards a single process to enable consumers who buy bundles of services to switch provider quickly and easily."
This would include those who buy bundles of services, including fixed-line and broadband from the same provider, the CCP stressed.
Earlier this month, the CCP welcomed research from Ofcom on the reasons why some people choose not to have broadband services at home.
