Car insurance has become a competitive market recently and in the bid to attract more customers, Tesco has unveiled its latest incentive which it claims helps consumers to tailor their car insurance around their lifestyle.
Allan Burns, head of Tesco car insurance, comments: "Motorists now have the opportunity to buy car insurance that suits their lifestyle and rewards them for their loyalty. Our customers expect a full range of benefits from us and that's what we're offering."
From today, Tesco will reward all named drivers with at least one year's claim-free driving a discount of up to 50%.
In addition, the insurer will offer a multi-car discount where additional policies receive 10% discount off their first year's individual risk-based premium and customers are entitled to a 25% discount on Tesco's breakdown cover.
Benefits can also be applied to company cars, providing that the customer's personal car is insured with Tesco, including building up a no-claims bonus. Motorcyclists switching to a car will also have their no claims discount recognised on their Tesco Car Insurance policy.
