uSwitch.com launches a unique update to its car insurance results page to enable consumers to filter their results to find car insurance quotes that meet their exact requirements. Working through a checklist, drivers will be able to check whether courtesy cars, child seat cover and 24 hour emergency helplines are included in their quotes. In total nine filter options have been added, as well as a sort bar allowing users to display the results by the category most relevant to them, such as annual or monthly premiums.
uSwitch has also added another eight insurance providers to its service, increasing its panel size to 40. The addition of providers including Budget Insurance, Marks and Spencer, Ecar, Yes Insurance and Hastings Direct will give motorists a broader range of choice on their car insurance.
Commenting on the changes, Aron Thompson, Head of Insurance at uSwitch.com said: "The improvements made to our car insurance pages are a natural progression for the site, but unique within our market.
"Increasingly, customers are looking for comparison sites to provide more than just the cheapest quote and to actually provide them with the right policy, at the right price.
"By offering customers the opportunity of filtering results by their specific requirements, we will be able to save them time by only showing the providers that offer consumers exactly what they want," he added.
