A new banner promoting road safety has been created by children at one Oxford school and will be placed outside the venue.
Children at Windmill Primary School were given the opportunity to create signs in a bid to discourage parents from parking on zigzags, reports the Oxford Mail.
In recent times, such a problem has become paramount for staff at the school, said Headteacher Lynn Knapp.
"We had one driver who had to get out of his car recently because he thought he had knocked a child over," she told the publication.
Moreover, she said that children will possibly speak to their parents now and ask them not to park in dangerous spots, something that may damage their car insurance.
The road is fairly narrow, she remarked and this makes it difficult for drivers to spot youngsters there.
Recently, it was announced that mobile speed cameras are to be used on a so-called danger road in an area of Bradford.
