A speed camera situated close to Bath has become the latest device to be targeted by vandals.
The camera on the A4 Batheaston Bypass was attacked by criminals last weekend and set ablaze, reports the Bath Chronicle.
Spokesman for camera operator the Safety Camera Partnership Dave Gollicker condemned the actions of those responsible and said that it will be replaced.
"Action has been taken by contractors to visit the site and remove it and get it repaired," he told the publication.
Smaller cameras have also been put in place in recent times by the organisation to capture thieves, but Mr Gollicker did not say if these were positioned close to the affected camera.
The road has a 50mph speed limit because of characteristics that make it more dangerous than normal dual carriageways.
