Campaigners in the north-east of Scotland have stated that it is worrying that a high number of people of people were caught speeding on the A90 during a clampdown, news that may be of interest to those with car insurance. The North East Safety Camera Partnership (Nescamp) said that more than 200 motorists were caught on the highway between Dundee and Aberdeen over a week, reports the Press and Journal. A scheme in 2005 led to the installation of speed cameras on the road, along with special road signs warning drivers about a 50mph limit. Spokeswoman at the outfit Julie Milne asserted that drivers have not yet come to terms with the changes on the A90. "It is hoped that by highlighting this area again to members of the public they will take note the next time they travel down the A90," she told the publication. A man at Lancashire police has been sacked after a number of inaccurate speed camera readings were handed out to drivers in the county.
