BlackBerry welcomes Sccope shopping app

A new tool that is sure to become a hit with shopping enthusiasts is now available to BlackBerry users.

Sccope enables mobile phone customers to compare prices on a wide range of products, including everything from toys to garden equipment.

It is available with a free trial and can be purchased from BlackBerry App World.

There are three ways to compare prices, including a search facility, barcode scanner using the BlackBerry camera and product browsing.

Ten million prices are checked every day using major retailers throughout the UK to ensure people have the most up-to-date information to hand when making a purchase.

A facility is also available to inform people when a product they are particularly interested in is set to drop in price.

BlackBerry recently saw the launch of a new gambling app, which enables people to place bids on sporting events without making a trip to a bookmaker.
