Digital TV services go all romantic

Virgin Media customers will be able to make the most of Valentine's Day with a host of on-demand services.

Classic period dramas and romantic films will be on offer using the on-demand service, including the likes of Wuthering Heights and Love Actually.

Digital TV subscribers will also be given the chance to catch up on the third season of Skins and season four of Supernatural, just in case loved-up flicks aren't quite their thing.

US drama favourites including the likes of ER, Friends and Gossip Girl will also be provided through Virgin Media's on-demand service.

It was announced earlier this month that the company had seen a record-breaking year for its on-demand TV, with over 750 million views throughout the course of 2009.

More than 59% of the network's 3.7 million digital TV customers now use the service on a regular basis.
