For those who would prefer a 30-day rolling mobile phone contract, the same deal is on offer from £20 a month.
iPhone users who want to use their mobile phone as a modem can achieve this through the new Internet Tethering Bolt On from O2.
"We have listened to our customers and introduced a range of new tariffs with unlimited calls, texts and data offering real value for money," commented Sally Cowdry, O2's Marketing Director.
In recent days, the network came top in a survey of mobile broadband speeds conducted by Siroda, with London experiencing the fastest connections in the UK.
