O2 scoops fastest mobile broadband title
It also ranked highly for music downloads, as it took the top spot in 12 out of 20 cities in the UK.
Derek McManus, Chief Technology Officer at O2, commented: "Outside London, where network quality is shown to be strong, we continue to scale our investment and have committed to deliver a further 1,500 new sites by the end of this year."
He added that London customers in particular are reaping the rewards from significant investments made before Christmas.
Last month, O2 revealed its Top-Up Surprises scheme was to be made available to pay-as-you-go mobile phone customers once again.
