Sony Ericsson goes green with launch of new mobile phone
Recycled plastics are also used and the usual paper manual has been replaced with an in-phone version.
The mobile phone benefits from the latest version of Windows Phone, a QWERTY keyboard, media browser and a curvature design which means it fits in the palm of the user's hand.
Jonathan Morris, Editor of What Mobile magazine, recently suggested that people will no longer go in search of a "dumb phone" as they now expect more features on their handset.
"The iPhone has probably helped educate people that they can now expect to do much more than make calls or text," he added.
