Virgin Media to showcase super-fast broadband
It claims that as a result of the fast connection speeds, a music album can be downloaded in just three seconds and an hour-long TV show in 16.
"Ultrafast broadband like our 200Mbps service will enable a whole household to enjoy cutting-edge entertainment, not just via computers, but through an array of gadgets all over the home," said Virgin Media executive Director of Brand and Marketing Ashley Stockwell.
It has not yet been confirmed when the service will be made available to the public, although suggestions are that it could be some time in 2012.
Virgin Media recently revealed it was expanding its high definition TV services by offering a host of new channels.
