Revamped credit cards seen as central to success

3 May 2005

A whole host of the UK's leading credit card suppliers are reportedly planning on revamping their existing cards.

The news follows the release by M&S Money of its own newly transformed &MORE credit card.

The new &MORE Black Card offers a zero per cent interest rate on all purchases and balance transfers as well as reward points which are redeemable at any M&S store. After the nine month long interest free period the card offers a variable rate of 15.9 per cent.

Nick Bowyer of M&S Money explained that simple changes to credit cards can have a significant impact on business.

"The colour black means so many things to so many different people and there is a certain kudos about it," he said.
