A new report has shown that British holidaymakers could reduce the cost of their holiday simply by changing the way they purchase foreign currency.
NatWest's study discovered that 53 per cent of holidaymakers do not bother to compare exchange rates before changing their currency .
Robin Cockburn, head of NatWest Travel Money Services, said: "The research shows if you exchange your currency before travelling you are 30 per cent more likely to be happier with the service you receive."
It is advised that people arrange their currency before flying out, and a convenient way of doing this early is by using a credit card.
