Following Halifax's latest One card with its 0% on balance transfers offer, three of the RBS Group's major credit card suppliers; Mint, NatWest and the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS), have introduced their new 13-month 0% credit card deals.
Mint is offering new customers who sign up interest-free balance transfers until August 1st 2008 and 0% on purchases until January 1st 2008. Consumers considering Mint are advised to sign up sooner rather than later in order to get the maximum interest-free period.
NatWest and RBS meanwhile, will offer their new customers a 13-month interest-free period for balance transfers and three months interest-free on new purchases.
In addition, the lenders offer a go-to rate of a typical 13.9% APR - cheaper than Mint's at 14.9% - with consumers who hold either a NatWest Advantage Gold, RBS Royalties, RBS Royalties Gold, RBS Royalties Premier current account packages at the bank enjoying an even better go-to rate of a typical 12.9% APR. Balance transfer fees will remain at 2%.
The RBS Group also highlighted the fact that all credit cards offer up to 56 days interest-free if a customer pays their balance in full on-time and has paid the previous month's balance in full and on time.
Online access is provided for all RBS and NatWest credit cardholders, subject to holding a current account with the respective banks, with all Mint customers also being given online access.
