Employees 'can earn rewards' with the right credit card

19 June 2009

Workers who use their credit cards for their job can reap a number of rewards simply by choosing the right product, it has been claimed.

Instead of putting in over-exaggerated expenses claims, uSwitch.com suggested people look to make other savings when they spend.

"Employees who do regularly submit legitimate claims for work related expenditure on a personal credit card should make sure that they have the best product to suit their needs," said Personal Finance Expert at uSwitch.com Louise Bond.

The research revealed that 2.8 million employees have inflated their car mileage in order to make extra cash and 832,000 people ask for blank taxi receipts to support their claims.

It was revealed by Virgin Money Credit Cards earlier this week that people are still spending on plastic to enjoy themselves, regardless of other economic pressures.
