Customers banking online are intrigued by new forms of technology such as web chats, a new report has revealed.
The research from comScore contended that 25% of respondents would be interested in talking with a member of staff from their service provider over the internet.
Additionally, 23% noted that they want to see the adoption of a widget that may enable them to see the balance of their current account.
Vice President at the organisation Brian Jurutka noted that the transition to these ways of thinking is in many cases "natural".
"Consumers are increasingly relying on emerging media in many aspects of their online lives, so it's natural that they would want their online banking experience to conform to these expectations," he commented.
Younger people were also much more likely to be satisfied with the online banking experience, the firm noted.
More satisfaction has been witnessed in another study carried out this week by ForeSee Results.
