Yorkshire Bank has launched a new current account aimed at busy professionals which offers a range of features designed to save time. The Signature current account can be linked to a high interest savings account or an offset mortgage and is available for a monthly fee of £10. It also offers a range of insurance benefits, including annual worldwide family travel insurance, mobile phone and gadget cover, breakdown cover and full ID theft insurance. According to Yorkshire Bank, these additional features mean professionals can be confident that everything is taken care of. Having a linked savings account also means that any surplus cash from their current account can be quickly transferred, allowing customers to take advantage of higher interest rates. Gary Lumby, Retail Director at Yorkshire Bank, said: "Today's busy professionals are looking for services that deliver both quality and value. For just £10 a month, the Signature current account provides customers with everything they need." Last week, Lloyds TSB launched a new current account paying tiered rates of interest depending on balances.
