BT is to join forces with Sony BMG in a deal that will enable a wide range of music videos to be accessed on-demand from BT's next-generation TV service, BT Vision.

The service is due to launch in autumn 2006 with the videos being available from November 2006 through the BT Vision Download Store.

BT Vision customers will also receive exclusive early access to many of Sony BMG's newly released videos. Some of BMG's artists include Jamiroquai, Foo Fighters, George Michael, Beyonce, Justin Timberlake and Bob Dylan.

Today's (October 4th) announcement adds to BT Vision's existing music agreements with Warner Music, Eagle Rock, BBC Worldwide and the National Geographic Channel.

Dan Marks, BT Television Services CEO, said: "We are delighted to be in business with one of the world's leading music entertainment companies. "It confirms that BT Vision will become one of the places that music fans will com to see and hear the artists they love, whenever they want."
