Consumers in the West Country will be offered help with the switch to digital TV when a seven-week roadshow arrives in their region next month.
Beginning in Paignton on March 6th, the event will tour the area ahead of the start of the switchover in April, the Digital TV Group reports.
Experts will be on hand to offer advice to those yet to switch and inform them of the choices available.
For example, some households may wish to purchase a Freeview set-top box through which they can receive a number of free-to-air digital channels.
Others may prefer to sign up to a satellite or cable package offering premium content such as movies and sport.
Bill Taylor, South West Regional Manager for Digital UK, which is organising the roadshow, said: "With little more than one month to the start of switchover in the West Country, this is an ideal opportunity for people to come and meet the team from Digital UK, find out how to prepare and learn what help is available."
People living in the Granada region will also switch to digital TV this year.
