The UK's biggest wind farm has opened in Wales with 39 turbines producing electricity for 42,000 homes.
The Cefn Croes wind farm near Devil's Bridge in Ceredigion cost £50 million to build and will play a significant role in the Welsh Assembly's plans to use renewable resources to produce ten per cent of the country's electricity by 2010.
It is hoped the new turbines will cut around four million tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions each.
The region of Wales where the farm is located is now home to nine wind farms and a total of 277 turbines.
