Energy provider Scottish and Southern Energy (SSE) has welcomed news that it topped three separate customer service surveys over the past week.
As well as receiving praise in uSwitch's Customer Satisfaction Report, SSE beat out its energy provider rivals in surveys conducted by JD Power and Associates and energywatch.
uSwitch measured customer satisfaction with the firm at 75% - up from 61% just a year ago - and said that it was "setting the standard for others" in the industry.
JD Power's customer study also ranked SSE highest among both UK gas and electricity suppliers - a first.
Meanwhile, industry watchdog energywatch said that, firm by firm, the lowest level of complaints brought to the organisation over the past year were from SSE customers.
Director of Customer Service at the energy provider Tony Keeling said: "It is no coincidence that we continue to have the best customer service in the industry - we recognise that excellent customer service is just as important to our customers as price.
"Although we have the best customer service in the industry and are way ahead of our nearest competitor, we know that there is still more we can do."
