Many consumers have been hit by electricity blackouts in the UK after the shut down of power stations.
It is unclear why the stations had to be closed and energy companies refused to stipulate when business would return to normal.
People in East Anglia, London, Merseyside and Cheshire were impacted on by the disruptions.
The Association of Electricity Producers Chief Executive David Porter stated that the National Grid has done well to ensure that the problem will be solved.
"More plants will be forced to close because of environmental pressure. The more clarity we can get from government to help build new power stations, the better," he commented.
Spokesman at the National Grid Stuart Larque noted that the energy system the UK has is "very robust" and should be able to cope with these types of difficulties.
A politician in Norway - Aaslaug Haga - recently suggested that the Scandinavian country could come to the assistance of the UK in terms of sustainable energy needs.
