Industry innovator Siemens Communications Group has today exhibited a series of new technologically advanced products for home telephone communication at CeBIT.
All the products exploit revolutionising internet telephony technology with some additionally making use of wireless radio frequency standard w-lan.
The PC adapter Gigaset M34 USB with Voice over IP software SIPPS from Nero will be available from April 2005 and allows users to establish a cordless DECT link to a mobile handset via Gigaset base station
Meanwhile, the Siemens Gigaset S35 WLAN offers a wireless version of this model and represents a cost-efficient, top digital sound quality product.
Finally, the Gigaset Home Control product is all-inclusive cordless telephone and remote control to home appliances via a DECT module.
These novel products signify the continued shift in consumer markets back onto the home telephony field as a profitable and commercially viable area.
