Low cost telecoms group Onetel has today made serious inroads into the UK home telephone market by offering a new service charging incredibly cheap call rates.
The offer comes as Onetel responds to rival firms who have introduced cheaper and better communication packages in recent weeks, stoking the competition.
For just £25 a month, consumers opting for Onetel can attain an uncapped two megabyte broadband service complete with unlimited evening and weekend landline calls.
The package prices the home phone service at just £1 and the offer is available as from today and throughout the summer.
The move has already caused rival companies to take note and industry experts are now predicting a series of similar home telephone offers from other suppliers.
