UK small businesses are being offered a new phone package that combines fixed line and mobile calls.
BT has trialled its Business Plan with Mobile package since July and says that the deal offers a 5% discount on combined, fixed and mobile calls.
Capped rates on fixed line calls and preferential rates on mobile to mobile and mobile to office calls are also offered.
Bill Murphy, managing director of BT Business, said: "This plan goes significantly further than the offering from competitors like Orange. Their price comparisons are made against our standard rate, a rate which most of our BT Business Plan customers do not pay.
"What's more, this service is already working, it's available now and it's been on trial successfully since July, delivering tangible benefits to customers."
He added: "Flexible working is now commonplace in many businesses and mobiles are often used as primary phones. That shouldn't mean difficult to track call costs spiralling out of control. Giving customers visibility of fixed and mobile in one bill helps them keep track of all their call costs and maximise the potential savings.
"More than a million business customers already trust BT to give them the support they need to be successful. BT Business Plan with Mobile gives them, and new customers, even more reason to link-up with BT."
