IAM lends young drivers a hand
IAM advanced drivers over 19 years of age will be able to sign up to the scheme, which was only ever previously offered to those over the age of 21.
Simon Best, IAM Chief Executive, commented: "The insurance industry has been quick to penalise young drivers, but is much slower to do anything to help improve their driving standards."
He highlighted that by giving motorists a financial incentive, the country's roads may become a safer place.
The IAM recently offered tips to pregnant drivers, including how to wear a safety belt with as little discomfort as possible while behind the wheel.
