<div class="rxbodyfield" xmlns:o="urn:www.microsoft.com/office" xmlns:st1="urn:www.microsoft.com/smarttags" xmlns:st2="urn:www.microsoft.com/smarttags2" xmlns:w="urn:www.microsoft.com/word" xmlns:x="urn:www.microsoft.com/excel"><p>Mobile phone network O2 attracted 295,000 more customers during 2006, as a range of 'free' offers helped attract more people.</p><p>With 17.6 million customers, O2 is the largest mobile network in the UK, thanks to deals such as O2 Long Weekends and O2 Rewards.</p><p>However, Steve Weller, Head of Communications Services at uSwitch.com, stressed it was "imperative" the company opened up more options for its customers to maintain its strong position in the industry.</p><p>"As with the rest of the communications industry, mobile operators are being forced to cram more and more features and options into packages to retain or entice customers," he commented.</p><p>"To help maintain healthy profits and divert a potential drop in revenue, it's imperative for O2 to add services such as broadband and home phone - which Vodafone and Orange already have done - to its packages."</p><p>Mr Weller suggested that the arrival of Be Unlimited broadband to the O2 mobile portfolio, planned for this summer, would be "key" to its future success.</p><p>What tariff should you choose?
