Internet search engine giant Google has reached a deal with electricals firm LG to allow the customers to access Google's website from its handsets.
At least ten styles of mobile phone will be launched this year with preinstalled software from Google, which will allow users to access the web searching site and other services, such as Google Maps and Gmail, from their phones.
The deal between Google and LG, the world's fifth-largest mobile phone manufacturer, means the Korean firm will start shipping the phones out as early as next month. It comes after a similar deal between Google and Samsung earlier this year, and Motorola also has a deal with Yahoo! to provide services similar to Google's.
"Building on our efforts to set new standards for wireless handsets, we are excited to partner with Google to offer extra value to consumers with enhanced mobile internet experiences," said Paul Bae, vice president of the product planning team at LG.
He added that LG's mobile phones, combined with Google's interactive services, will allow users to "stay connected while in motion".
