3's new mobile internet offering will enable consumers "freedom to use the internet on the move", according to the group's Marketing Director.
John Penberthy-Smith's comments come as the group offers a new flat-rate unlimited mobile package for £5.
Available on all recently launched 3 handsets, regardless of shape or colour, the package will also allow savvy consumers the opportunity to benefit from unlimited Windows Live Messenger.
Allowing people on the move to stay in contact when they are away from their PCs or laptops, the package complements the group's gold and silver packages.
Mr Penberthy-Smith said the deal would offer consumers choice and allow them to "choose a handset which really works for them".
