T-Mobile has launched a new tariff allowing families to keep in touch more often, for free.
The FamilyShare tariff is designed to allow families of up to five members to take advantage of a monthly call allowance and be charged under just one bill.
Family members will then be able to make unlimited calls to each other for free, as well as use bundled minutes and texts included as part of the deal.
It is thought that T-Mobile's shift towards the needs of families is an attempt to draw young people away from pre-pay mobiles towards 18-month or 24-month contracts.
Indeed, the network operator is also hoping its FamilyShare tariff will also compete with Vodafone's own version, offering unlimited calls between four people for £5 per month.
"For the first time, families can now receive greater value from their price plan by sharing it out within a family group," Phil Barden, Director of Consumer Business at the T-Mobile, said.
FamilyShare tariffs range from £55 to £150 per month depending on family size and requirements.
