Vodafone is being lined-up as the network operator of the much sought-after iPhone in Europe, reports suggest.
However according to inside sources in the technological world, Vodafone will only take on the deal if Apple makes changes to some of iPhone's features.
Vodafone are reportedly unsatisfied with the implementation of YouTube on the phone and would like it to operate more like the desktop web version, the Engadget website claims.
What is more, it is thought the firm is also calling for the iPhone to be more synchronised with Miocrosoft Exchange and Outlook to suit their business customers.
It is believed the company is also unhappy with other technical issues including problems with how firewall and security settings as well as Wi-Fi security issues will work.
The news comes as publication Mobile Today reports that UK online mobile handset retailers are already advertising pre-order sales with Vodafone and O2 for the touch screen iPhone.
