Orange has unveiled a colourful range of brand new handsets to put under the tree this Christmas.
The mobile phone provider's new handsets come in shades of purple, pink and red as well as the traditional black and silver for more conservative tastes.
Influenced by the autumn and winter collections on the world's catwalks this year, the purple Samsung U600 comes with a 3.2 mega pixel camera and a 262K colour screen
Meanwhile the festive-coloured red Sony Ericsson W910i Walkman phone is predicted to be a bestseller over Christmas, with the LG Pink Shine, the Samsung F210, the Sony Ericsson W580i and the Sony Ericsson W200i keeping mobile users pretty in pink.
Francois Mahieu, Orange UK Device Director, said: "Colour and fashion handsets have been growing in popularity for a while now and this Christmas demand will be very high.
"People want choice, so we have secured exclusivity with top brands as well as launching our own label devices so we can offer customers the best handsets on the market in a range of colours."
Orange predicts that 25% of all handsets sold over Christmas will be coloured variants, based on last year's sales.
