Many Vodafone customers in the UK are continuing to receive random invoices and restricted access to their online billing, it has emerged.
The UK mobile phone network provider has recently experienced billing difficulties, as the firm's contractor Amdocs had difficulties implementing billing systems, the Register reports.
Vodafone currently outsources its billing to three providers - IBM, Amdocs and EDS -but up until this week had remained tight-lipped as to the name of the company at the centre of the problems.
"As Vodafone is responsible for the customer experience received by its customers, we don't feel it is appropriate to name specific suppliers," a Vodafone representative told the Register at the time.
Earlier this month, Vodafone launched its handset range for Christmas, with internet-ready mobile phones and high speed 3G broadband access dominating the products.
"Vodafone has one of the widest ranges of the very best internet ready handsets offering technical superiority, sleek design and optimised services at high 3G speeds for our customers this Christmas," Frank Rovekamp, Global Chief Marketing Officer, Vodafone Group enthused.
