A mobile telephone that can operate on the dual network or dual standby techniques has been released by HKC.
Using the W1000 phone on varying networks is possible as it has a GSM slot and a CDMA slot, the firm said, as reported by Cellular-news.
Meanwhile, the G1000 comes with two GSM openings, allowing users to communicate with two networks at the same time.
HKC claimed that this will enable travellers to use their usual number while also utilising another sim from a cheaper local alterative. Both sim cards can be placed into the handset at exactly the same time.
The models also come with other features such as a two-megapixel camera, memory card portal and software that allows the use of a business card.
In recent mobile news, Vodafone and Virgin announced that they have linked up to try and improve coverage for commuters using their phones while travelling on trains.
