Part of the mobile telephone network has been hit by poor service in recent times, an operator has revealed.
O2 has stated that a number of areas situated east of Edinburgh and in Fife have seen problems, which was the result of a blackout, reports the BBC.
The problem began on June 2nd, the organisation revealed, with engineers called to try and deal with the situation.
And Fife Fire and Rescue told the news service that its operations had been impacted upon but that it could carry on performing.
The authorities could not give a definitive answer as to when services will be back to their usual level.
In related news, O2 has this week sacked a number of employees who were accused of purchasing the iPhone at a discount price and then selling them to friends.
More of the firm's staff are currently under investigation for doing the same.
