T-Mobile offers free games service

5 December 2008

T-Mobile customers will soon be able to sign up for free games as part of a new service being launched by the mobile phone operator.

Each week fresh games will be released to replace old ones, giving subscribers up-to-date access to the newest and most popular content.

The service will be free and will be funded via targeted advertisements which will be displayed on mobile phone screens before each game starts and finishes.

Users will be able to download and play an unlimited amount of games, which will work on any compatible T-Mobile contract mobile phone.

Some of the first games to be offered will be Poker Million II, IQ Booster, Pro-Bowling, Pool Star and Einstein's Brain Game.

Meanwhile, T-Mobile has also reduced its price for the Google Android G1 mobile phone by £10.

It is offering the handset free on tariffs of £30 a month, rather than £40 as was originally planned.

Mobile phone users unhappy with their current tariff or on the lookout for one that offers more should compare deals online now.
