More online content is to become available to Orange customers through a partnership with Wikimedia.
The services will be available to mobile users in the UK and will allow them to create specific Wikipedia channels on Orange mobile and web portals.
Furthermore, both web-based and mobile widgets will allow customers to directly access Wikipedia content directly from their Orange mobile or web homepage.
"At Orange we are committed to giving people maximum access to the widest range of digital technologies and to simplifying the way people use these technologies to access information," states Paul-Francois Fournier, Executive Vice-President of Audience Line of Business at the company.
Orange recently unveiled its new Vegas phone, which provides a touch-screen experience to allow people to access their favourite services.
It is priced at £48.50 for pay-as-you-go customers and is said to be the cheapest touch-screen model on the market.
