Orange launches Vegas touch-screen phone

28 April 2009

Orange has launched its new touch-screen Vegas phone, which is said to be the cheapest of its kind on the market.

It is priced at £48.50 for pay-as-you-go customers and is available in two colours - black and pink.

"Combined with our pay as you go Dolphin package which offers free access to Bebo, Facebook and MySpace - it really does offer consumers tremendous value," says Francois Mahieu, Director of Devices at Orange UK.

He adds that people can enjoy the touch-screen experience "without breaking the bank", with the handset coming with a 128MB built-in memory and microSD card.

Among its other features is a 1.3 megapixel camera, MP3 and media player compatibility and an integrated FM radio.

Earlier this week, Orange announced a partnership with the Wikimedia Foundation, enabling users to access more online content through their handsets.
