£100 cashback for switching current account to Halifax extended
Anthony Warrington, Director of Current Accounts, said: "The response to the Halifax switching initiative since its launch in January this year has been exceptional."
Unlike similar incentives by other banks, Halifax pays the cashback straight away, as opposed to after the switch has been completed and customers do not need to use any of Halifax's other services in order to claim the reward.
Halifax was founded in 1853 as a building society and named after the town in West Yorkshire and is now a division of the Bank of Scotland, with the slogan of A Little Extra Help.
