Cash investments remain top of the agenda for Brits
More than half (51%) have most of their investments in cash and 25% revealed they would be sticking to this for the foreseeable future.
Nick Scarrett, Head of Pensions and Investments at Fair Investment Company, said: "There is a lot of talk of diversifying assets and opting for riskier investments in order to improve returns, and this suits many people, but the bottom line is, most people are happiest in cash."
He added that people can make the most of their money by investing in a cash ISA, as there are some great rates available at the moment.
Saga recently found that two-fifths of people over the age of 50 will use their full ISA allowance over the coming year.
