Transpact offers new payment service
A revolutionary new payment service has been launched by Transpact in a bid to encourage good customer service.

Users agree the terms of a contract before parting with any money, which is then stored in an independent account and given to the payee upon completion of the task.

If it has not been carried out to the required standard - or to the terms agreed before the transaction - then the cash is refunded.

The service is available for £2.99 per transaction and can be used for personal or professional payments.

It is registered with the Financial Services Authority and claims to be the only service whereby people receive exactly what they pay for.

Santander recently revealed that one in five people have been the victim of sloppy workmen, with 37% eventually ending up footing the bill themselves.

The average botched job costs £1,592 to repair, the research showed.
